Welcome to EA 2017!
NEWS : registrations are closed. The number of participants reached the maximum limit. Thank you.
The Biennial International Conference on Artificial Evolution (EA-2017) will celebrate its 13th anniversary from 25 to 27 October 2017 in Paris, France.
EA is an international conference held in France every two years. EA is dedicated to techniques that simulate natural evolution.
Researchers interested by models of natural evolution and complex biological systems are encouraged to submit articles to EA.
All accepted papers must be presented at the conference (in order to promote interactions among participants, questions and discussions will be favoured). Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, available at the conference. A selection of the best presented oral papers will be edited in a volume of the LNCS series of Springer-Verlag (as for the previous editions, cf. Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science 1063, 1363, 1829, 2310, 2936, 3871, 4926, 5975, 7401, 9554). See Instructions for more informations.
NEWS: COST training school in conjunction with EA: A training school on the topic of bridging the gap between theory and practice will be held in Paris just before the EA conference, October 18-24, on the Jussieu campus of UPMC. Target audience are all researchers interested in this topic. Limited funding is available, see http://imappnio.dcs.aber.ac.uk/cost-training-school for all details and do not hesitate to contact the organizers Thomas Jansen (thj10@aber.ac.uk) and Carola Doerr (Carola.Doerr@mpi-inf.mpg.de) with questions and requests for participation. Participation is free of charge but we have to limit the number of participants due to the room capacities. A registration is therefore needed before September 1.
